Oak Barrels at Domaine Sainte Rose

Domaine Sainte Rose uses French and American oak barrels only.  There are subtle difference between the two types of oak which reflect in the flavour characteristics they impart on the wine.  French oak is thought to be more subtle with vanilla characters while the American oak is  more powerful and toasty.

Each one of the Domaine Sainte Rose barrel rooms is carefully temperature controlled.
