Le Sirocco
Sauvignon Blanc

£6.60 per 75cl sold in boxes of 6 bottles
Le Sirocco is a warm, dry wind that blows from the Sahara desert
across the Mediterranean Sea into the south of France. It brings sand from the
Sahara and moisture from the Mediterranean. The
Sauvignon Blanc benefits greatly
from this moisture as it ensures good balance and varietal character given the
warm, dry growing conditions of the Languedoc. This wine is
Sauvignon Blanc dominant but has
been blended with a small percentage of Muscat and Roussanne.

Very pale almost clear yellow with a touch of green.

Zesty, fresh and clean with citrus characteristics especially grapefruit.
Lively floral notes.

Crisp and fresh with a longish finish. Good acidity, balance, and mouth
feel.

Now until 2010
